To make this unique product, Torrontés grapes are left on the vine longer to allow them develop concentrated characteristics. The grapes are then fermented using classic winemaking techniques including pumping over, délestage, and pigéage. Cold maceration, pressing, and fermentation take place and fermentation is completed with 100 grams of sugar per litre. Finally, this wine is fortified to a grape alcohol level of 19.5º before being aged for a year in French oak barrels.
Golden amber in colour with copper hues, this wine expresses aromas of nuts, honey, and orange zest. A buttery, intense flavour on the palate includes hints of golden raisin, star anise, kumquat, and date in syrup.
